Dear God, It’ St. Patrick’s Day Tomorrow!

Amidst your celebrations and libations tomorrow, we thought it would be fun to point out St. Patrick’s relationship to the Dear God Letter.

In fact, St. Patrick wrote many letters. He was quite prolific in his ministry.

He actually didn’t start out this way. He began as a pagan who was sold into slavery in Ireland at age 16. While enslaved, he began his relationship with God and wrote letters and other writings that addressed God with his thoughts and desires. Many believed he was the recipient of many miracles.

He had a cause, a passion, a purpose and a destiny.

He risked his life for what he believed in.

And he wrote to God and his ministry constantly.

Hmmmm… sounds like a Dear God Letter to us!

He died on March 17th in AD 461 and everybody’s been celebrating St. Pat’s Day ever since.

So when you get ready to don your green and shout “Erin Go Bragh!” – write your Dear God Letter about your passions, purpose and destiny and see what happens for you.

Miracles never cease.
